Obituary of Margaret Hughena Campbell

Margaret Hughena Campbell, RN Age 81 of Bridgewater, NS, she passed away on Saturday, February 15 2014. Hughena was born in Glace Bay, NS, December 12 1932. She received her RN. from St. Joseph Hospital in 1955. She spent most of her career working at the South Shore Regional Hospital as a Pediatric Nurse. She was the daughter of the late Helen Nellie MacPhail and Hughie MacQuarrie and Step Father, Clinton MacPhail. She was also predeceased by her brothers Calvin and Hughie, and her daughter Rose Mary Campbell. She is survived by her loving husband David E Campbell, (they were married for 59 years). Her children Helen Cynthia (Maurice) Coady; Margret Joanne (Bill Gow) Campbell, Louise Campbell-Hirtle (Wayne aka Shep) Hirtle; her sons David Alan Campbell (Cathy Holden) and Ronald Clinton Campbell; her Grand Children; Nicole (Kevin) Roach, Megan Campbell, Tyler Hirtle (Stephanie), Jeremy Hirtle, Jason Ryan, Brian Campbell (Jessica) and David Michael Campbell ( Jessica), Great Grand Children; David Campbell the 4th, Cale Campbell, Abigayle Ryan, Anna Grace Campbell and Elliott Roach. Hughena will be missed by all her loved ones, may she rest in peace. Viewing will be Tuesday February 18th at 7:00 pm at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday February 19th at 2:00 pm in St Joseph’s Parish on Pleasant Street, Bridgewater, Fr. Jim MacDonald, OMI officiating. There will be a lunch to follow in parish hall. A private family burial will take place in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Cemetery.
