Obituary of Marcella Kathleen Colp

Marcella Kathleen (Robar) Colp 82, Harbour View Haven, formally of Bridgewater. On April 15, 2014 after fighting a long courageous battle with Alzheimer’s mom is finally at peace. Born in Chelsea she was the oldest child of the late Ethel and Kenneth Robar. She is survived by her son Wayne, Oakhill; son Bill (Clinton) and Kathy, PEI; grandsons Matthew, Joshua, Devin and granddaughter Kathleen; daughter Sherry Colp, Oakhill; grandson Billy Joe, great granddaughter Marissa; daughter Michelle & Timothy Nickerson; West Northfield; granddaughters Samantha and Sydney; son Peter, Liverpool; grandchildren Nicole and Brandon; sister Lorene (Harold) Conrad, Dayspring. Marcella was predeceased by her Husband Clinton; mother Ethel (Smith), father Kenneth; brothers Alvin, Jordan and Bob. Marcella or Kay, had great sense of humor and in the years proceeding her illness mom spent most days at the Bridgewater Mall where she loved to socialize with the many friends that she made there. On Sundays you could find her watching Nascar cheering on her favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt. Watching mom’s struggle with her illness was heart breaking, she is finally at rest. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and a private burial will take place at a later date. We would like to thank the staff at Harbour View Haven for making mom’s last few days as comfortable as possible, Darrah, thank you so much for the comfort you gave to us while we sat with mom, your kindness and compassion will not be forgotten.
