Obituary of Daisy Conrad

Daisy Evelene Conrad 62, of West Dublin, passed away October 23, 2001 in the Q E II Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Simpson’s Corner, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Lillian (Hyson) Tufts. She is survived by daughters, Elaine Llewellyn, New Germany; Heather (Richard) Croft, Hebbs Cross; 4 granddaughters, Amanda Wamboldt, Patricia Llewellyn, Kelsie and Kaylee Croft; companion Alan Oestebo, West Dublin; sisters, Thelma Wile, Wileville; Judith Joudrey, Baker Settlement; 3 brothers, Allan Tufts, West Dublin; Albert Tufts, Simpson’s Corner; Alden Tufts, Newcombville; ½ brother, Steven Maden, England. She was predeceased by her husband Robert; sister Mildred Langille; brother Alfred Tufts and 4 brothers in infancy. Visitation will be held Thursday from 7 to 9 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 11am Friday Rev. Wayne Mitton officiating. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, West Dublin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Q E II Health Sciences Center Foundation, 1278 Tower Rd., Halifax, B3H 9Z9.
