Obituary of Louise Lucille Gwendolyn Hirtle

Louise Lucille Gwendolyn Hirtle Age 84 of Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2014 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born July 29, 1930 in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Charles Willis and Lottie Mae (Wile) Hirtle. She was a graduate of the Halifax Infirmary School of Nursing and a post Graduate from Victoria General Hospital, Montreal, in Operating Room Technique and Management. Louise served on the Board of Health, Town of Bridgewater and Big Brothers Big Sisters, she was also a volunteer for the Canadian Red Cross. Prior to retirement she was the Director of Materials Management for South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. She enjoyed spending time at the family cottage at Green Bay during the summer months. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by twin brothers, Raymond and Ronald and a sister, Helen. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. A private graveside service for family and close friends will take place in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Rev. Paul Jensen officiating.
