Dr. Glenn David Isabelle It is with profound sadness that the family of Dr. Glenn Isabelle, O.D. announces his death. He died on Friday, November 7, 2014 at the age of 60. Bonnie and Glenn moved to Lunenburg County in 1977 where Glenn practiced Optometry in Bridgewater, Liverpool, Chester, Barrington Passage, Port Hawkesbury and Corner Brook, NL, until his retirement in 2010. A loving son, husband and father, Glenn will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He leaves his wife Bonnie; daughter, Lauren; son, Brenan and daughter-in-law, Danielle; mother, Eleanor ‘Bunty’ (Paterson) Isabelle; sisters, Rita (Ken) Kube, Saskatoon, Sask; Irene (Pat) Heffernan, Prince Albert, Sask; brother, Allan Isabelle, Penzance, Sask; in-laws Robert (Sandra) Kearns, Seagrave, ON, Daniel (Shelley) Bottan, Ritchie (Lorie) Pitt, Spencerville, ON; nieces and nephews, Sheila (Brad) Ashdown, Jason (Megan) Kube, Nancy Kube, Bill (Deanna) Isabelle, John (Robin) Isabelle, Adrian Isabelle, Michelle Tsui, Steven (Ina) Isabelle, Natalie (Joe) Iaquinta, Joe Heffernan (Sue Mildner), Grant Heffernan (Ebony Thiel), Anthony Heffernan, Kylie Kearns (Shannon Puloski), Chad (Dana) Kearns, Lindsay (Brett) Van Dyke, Jay Bottan (Karla Nugent), Josh Pitt, Jarrett Pitt. He was predeceased by his father, Adelard ‘Sonny’ Isabelle; sister, Janice Isabelle; sister-in-law, Mary Isabelle, father and mother in-law Lyle and June Pitt. A Celebration of Glenn’s life will be held at the Best Western Plus Hotel, Bridgewater on Monday, November 17, 2014 from 4 – 6 p.m. Friends are invited to join Glenn’s family for the program beginning at 4 p.m. followed by a reception and light refreshments at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bridgewater Inter-Church Food Bank or the South Shore Waldorf School and Kindergarten.
