Obituary of Viola Blanche Jodrey

Viola Blanche Jodrey 87 of East Dalhousie passed away on Saturday September 27, 2014 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in East Dalhousie, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Delia (Lohnes) Lowe. Viola will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. Her love of playing cards will just be one of the many loving memories they will have of her. She is survived by her daughters Helen Daniels and Linda (Roland) Acker, both of East Dalhousie; Brothers Basil, Albert and Earl Lowe; grandchildren Paul Daniels, Troy (Jodie) Acker and Adam Acker; great grandchildren Paige, Maddox, Logan and Nathaniel along with numerous nieces and nephews. Viola was predeceased by her husband Garnet; sister Florence, Ada in infancy; half-sister Ida Mae; brothers Garnet, Billy, Raymond and grandson Harold Daniels. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, New Germany. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday September 30 in East Dalhousie Baptist Church, Rev. Robert Gates officiating. A private family burial will follow in East Dalhousie Baptist Cemetery.
