Garnet Vernon Joudrey
New Germany, Lunenburg Co., passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 6, 2014 in his 64th year. He was a son of the late Joseph and Gladys (Lantz) Joudrey, formerly of New Germany. Garnet worked at Michelin for several years and spent his later years working at several odd jobs. He lived a simple life and helped others wherever he could. He had a great love for animals. Surviving are his sisters, Shirley (Donald) Weagle, Conquerall Mills; Nora Nauss, New Germany; brother, Arthur (Betty Ann) Joudrey, Upper Tantallon; niece, Sharmarlyn Hubley, Middlefield; nephews, Chris (Marie) Weagle, Wileville; Matthew (Maria and baby Mallary) Joudrey, Upper Tantallon; Kevin (Joanne) Nauss, New Germany; Brian (Alisha and Wyatt) Nauss, Stanley Section; many cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Kaye Eagles; brother in law, Douglas Nauss; nephew, Scott Nauss and many aunts and uncles. His presence will be missed by all who knew him. Honoring Garnet’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service at this time. An interment will take place at a later date in St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Cemetery, New Germany. No flowers by request, donations may be made to New Germany and Area Food Bank, SHAID Animal Shelter or charity of choice. The family is grateful for all the help and care we received during this time in our lives.
