Loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and beloved son, passed away in the early hours of January 9, 2014 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Ricky (Smith); daughter, Christine (Steve Harmon); grandson, Sam and Maddox; brothers, Gary (Louise) Langille, Halifax; Kenneth Langille, Yarmouth; numerous nieces and nephews. Donald worked with the Canadian National Railways for a few years before joining Michelin Tires, shortly after the Bridgewater plant opened. Over a career that spanned 30 years, he served in a number of positions with Michelin. He built up many good friendships that continued strong, right up until his death. Donald is best remembered in his earlier years for his love of hunting and fishing, two activities he enjoyed ever since he was a young boy. As well, he loved his garden that he tended faithfully every year. Donald loved the outside and was most at home walking in the woods or fishing by a stream.
