Obituary of Gilbert Lloyd Mailman

Gilbert Lloyd Mailman 87, Colpton, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Colpton, he was a son of the late William and Zoe (Davis) Mailman. Gilbert loved the outdoors, he enjoyed hunting and fishing was a craftsman; he was also a good cook. Surviving are his wife, the former Madeline Gloria Veinot; sons, Scott Mailman (Bonnie Beck), Baker Settlement; Michael (Stacey) Mailman, Newcombville; grandchildren, Cohyn, Jared, Brooke and Kaitlyn; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Kathleen Waterman, Phyllis Freeman; brothers, Leslie, Howard, Vernon and Clifford. Visitation, 7-9 p.m., Monday, February 24 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and where service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday. Pastor Bethe Benjamin-Cameron officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Pleasant River. Family flowers only, donations may be made to South Shore Regional Hospital or Lakeview Cemetery.
