Obituary of Clare Elizabeth Morton
Clare Elizabeth (Feener) Morton
88, New Germany, Lunenburg Co., passed peacefully, Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany, where she had been residing. Born in Farmington, Lun. Co., Clare lived a full and active life dedicated to her family, the farm and church. She is survived by her daughters, Jane (Andrew) Blackburn, Clifton; Susan (Mike) Beamish, Shad Bay; grandchildren, Gillian Blackburn, Ian, Matthew and Jacob Beamish; she is also survived by brothers, Raeburn (Margaret and family), New Germany and Robert Feener, Farmington. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 yrs, Douglas Timothy Morton and her brother, Lawrence Feener. Clare will be missed by her family of her heart, Laura Lee and Gary as well as her ‘boys’, Ben and Luke. Special thanks to the staff of the Rosedale Home for Special Care for the loving personal care each member provided over the past years. She was well loved. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Service 2 p.m., Saturday, June 21 in Epworth United Church, New Germany. Rev. Neil McEwan and Rev. Lester Settle officiating.
