Obituary of Sheila Ann MacKinnon

Sheila Ann MacKinnon 74 of Upper Branch, Lunenburg County, passed away on Friday January 3, 2014 at her home in Upper Branch. A much loved wife, mother and sister, greatly missed by all her family and friends. Born in Sandwich, Kent, England she was the daughter of the late Edward and Elsie (Bean) Ashman. Sheila is survived by her husband Robert; son Paul MacKinnon (Jacqueline Rafuse); daughters Donna (Stephen) Roy, Ontario; Dawn (Troy) Wentzell, Midville Branch; and Fiona Jackson, England; sister Susan (Martin) Bean, Cyprus; brother David Ashman, England; grandchildren Travis and Devyn Wentzell, Stephen (JR) and Jason Roy along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Derek Ashman. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday January 8, 2014, in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, Rev Willis Ott officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, Bridgewater or the Canadian Cancer Society.
