Gary Allison Nauss
We are saddened to announce the passing of our loving husband and father at the age of 70 on Sunday, June 29, 2014 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Simpsons Corner, he was a son of the late Dennis Naas and Mabel (Emino) Naas Snyder. Gary was retired from a long career of trucking, having driven his first truck at the age of 14. He received numerous awards and merits for his safe driving skills and abilities and always tried to pass along those skills of being a conscientious driver to other. Gary was a true outdoorsman who had a passion for hunting, fishing, spending time in the flower and vegetable gardens as well as being at his camp. Gary also loved to play cards and was known for his mischievous behavior, always finding the right chance to play a trick on someone. Gary could also be found throughout his community of Hemford, giving a helping hand to anyone who needed it without being asked, he will truly be missed by all, especially those who loved him most, his wife Donna (Silver), Hemford; daughter, Heather Nauss (George Morin), Hemford; brother, Bryan Naas, Halifax; step sister, Shirley Leary, Simpsons Corner; step brothers, Roland Snyder, Bridgewater; Bryden Snyder and Alan Snyder, both of Watford; many nieces and nephews.
