Obituary of Alonzo Tupper Rhodenizer

Alonzo Tupper Rhodenizer 74, born March 29, 1940, died April 30, 2014 at the ALC Unit of Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital. Born in Parkdale, the son of the late Ira and Ethel Rhodenizer, and spent most of his life there. Member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Parkdale and sang in choir until health did not permit. Member of New Germany and Area Lions Club. Loved dogs and to attend community activities, especially those involving music. Survived by wife Darlene (Meisner) of Hillside Acres, Middlefield; sister Lucy (Gerry) Charlebois, Gatineau, Quebec; Merna (Robert) Cox, Parkdale; brothers Blair (Jocelyn), Berwick; and Robert (Marlean), Barss Corner. Predeceased by sister Marjorie (Max) Hebb, Halifax and brother Lee, Parkdale. There will be no visitation by request. Memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday May 3 in Emmanuel Baptist Church, Parkdale, Rev. Sam Jess officiating. Private family burial. Family flowers only, please.
