Obituary of Elizabeth Viola Selig

Elizabeth Viola Selig 73 of Wileville passed away Tuesday July 22, 2014 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Lake Centre, Lunenburg Co. she was the daughter of the late John and Clara (Richards) Herman. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter Karen (Steven Maughan) Hirtle, New Germany; son Kevin Selig, Wileville; sisters Judy (Earl) Rhodenizer, Pleasantville; Marjorie Kizer, Pleasantville; Sharon Slauenwhite, Rhodes Corner; brothers Reggie (Linda) Herman and Fred (Vida) Herman, both of Pleasantville; grandchildren, Crystal (Matt) Hirtle, Robert John Selig, Markus Selig, David Hirtle, James Hirtle, Candace Hirtle and Stephen Dykin along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas Earl Selig; son John Edwin Selig; brother Charles Herman. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday July 26, 2014 in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, Pastor Padro Graca officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasantville cemetery. Flowers accepted and memorial donations in Elizabeth’s memory may be made to the Palliative Care unit at the South Shore Regional Hospital, the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice.
