Obituary of Aubrey Robert Silver

Aubrey Robert Silver 82, Lower Northfield, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Lower Northfield, he was a son of the late Jesse Hamilton and Alma Lola (Wentzell) Silver. During Aubrey’s working years, he was a farmer and was employed in the Christmas tree business. During his retirement, Aubrey served two terms as a municipal councilor for the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg from 1994 - 2000. Surviving are his wife, Lucille Alice (Wentzell); daughter, Merinda (Glendon Dominoe) Silver, Conquerall Mills; son, Glendon (Karen) Silver, Lower Northfield; grandsons, Brett Silver (Rebekah Hogg), Jordan Silver; brothers, Basil (Mary) Silver, Eugene (Gloria) Silver all of Lower Northfield; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister in infancy. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Friday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service 11 a.m., Saturday, May 17, in St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, West Northfield. Rev. Catharine House officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, West Northfield.
