Obituary of Lawrence Richard Starratt

Lawrence Richard Starratt Age 92, Falkland Ridge, Annapolis Co., passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014 in Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany, where he had been residing. Born on January 30, 1922 in Falkland Ridge, he was a son of the late Percy David and Elva Melissa (Stoddart) Starratt. Surviving are his sisters, Hazel Starratt, Rosedale Home, New Germany, formerly of Falkland Ridge; Ethel Veinote, Bridgewater; brother, George Starratt, Windsor; nieces, Leona Spencer, Ann Lyons, Joan Coombs, Kay Taylor, Gail Keddy; nephews, Robby Wentzell, Aubrey Wentzell, Keith Kaulback, David Kaulback, Malcolm Brown, Walter Brown; special friends, David and Betty Drew. He was predeceased by sisters, Jean Wentzell, Enid Brown, Olive Kaulback; brother, Evan Starratt. Visitation will be held in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, #4895 route 10, New Germany from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2014 with a public graveside service immediately following at 2 p.m. in Falkland Ridge Cemetery, Falkland Ridge.
