Obituary of Nancy Elizabeth Tanner

Nancy Elizabeth Tanner Age 58, Broad Cove, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014 in the Q.E. II Health Science Center, Infirmary site, Halifax. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of Shirley Elizabeth (Teal) Smith, Broad Cove and the late Douglas Roy Smith. Surviving are her husband, Tony Maxwell Tanner, Broad Cove; son, Cory Douglas (Kari Ann) Tanner, Cherry Hill; brothers, Daniel Roy (Cathy) Smith, Ont.; Barry Wayne (Cynthia) Smith, Wayne Michael (Valerie “Jane”) Smith, all of Broad Cove; mother in law, Amy Helena Tanner, Blue Rocks; many nieces and nephews and her beloved four legged companion, Sasha “Girley”. She was predeceased by a son Joshua Tony in infancy; sister, Deanna Smith, father in law, Maxwell Howard Tanner. By her personal request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Lupus Foundation of Canada or the United Communities Fire Department.
