Obituary of Beatrice Viola Thompson

Beatrice Viola Thompson 99, of Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., passed away November 3, 2014 in the Heart of the Valley Long Term Care Center, Middleton. Born in Bridgewater, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Weagle) Dorey. She is survived by her sons, Raymond (Dianne), Midville Branch; David, Conquerall Mills; daughters, Sadie Veinott, Middleton; Marguerite Thompson, Kentville; sister Nellie Feener, Bridgewater; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. Beatrice was predeceased by her husband Frederick; sisters Sarah Clark, Adelaide Maloney, Gladys Selig, Annie Banks and Helen Stewart; brothers Calvin at birth, Tracy, Tamery and Joseph. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. There will be no visitation by request. A graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday November 6, in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Branch LaHave, Rev. Catharine House officiating.
