Obituary of Darrell Avard Welsh

Darrell Avard Welsh 51, West Dublin. The family of Darrell Welsh are saddened by his sudden passing at home on Sunday, April 13, 2014. Darrell was a gentle soul, always there when family or friends needed a hand. He was a hard worker at any task he set out to do. He loved the ocean and spending time on Cape LaHave with his wife Krista and their fur babies. Surviving are his wife, Krista (Tumblin); sister, Peggy Welsh, St. Albert, Alb.; brothers, William Welsh, Bridgewater; Greg (Shelagh Wright) Welsh, Watford; David (Brenda) Welsh, Oakhill; many nieces and nephews and his parents. He was predeceased by a brother, Michael. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. A public graveside service of remembrance will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, April 17, 2014 in Peaceful Hill Cemetery, West Dublin. Rev. Neil McEwan officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Peaceful Hill Cemetery or Canadian Cancer Society. A Reception will follow the service in the West Dublin Community Hall, West Dublin.
