Obituary of Ivan Wentzell

Ivan (Bubby) Wentzell Age 67, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Ivan was born in Bridgewater on January 14, 1947. He was the son of the late Earl and Viola (Meisner) Wentzell. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Betty and his daughter, April (Richy) Walsh and his pride and joy, his one and only granddaughter, Mya. Surviving are brothers, Carmen (Linda) Wentzell, Branch Lahave; Donnie (Marilyn) Wentzell, Bridgewater; sisters, Rona (Lloyd) Bowers, Auburndale; Linda (Vincent) Wile, Branch Lahave; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant daughter, Wendy Marie. During his working years, he was employed for 45 years with South Shore Ready Mix. He was a hard working, caring man and will be sadly missed by all. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2014 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and where funeral service will also be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 1. Family flowers only please, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Hillside Cemetery, Branch Lahave or charity of choice. A reception will follow the burial at Ivan and Betty’s home, 1682 Lower Branch Road.
