Obituary of Rita Evangeline Wentzell

Rita Evangeline Wentzell 86, West Northfield, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014 in Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany where she had been residing for the past month. Born in West Northfield, she was a daughter of the late Angus and Vera (Sarty) Zinck. She was a member of the New West Pine United Church, Pinehurst. She loved to camp and play cards. Rita was a very kind and caring woman, never speaking ill of anyone. Surviving are her son, Stuart (Nancy) Wentzell, West Northfield; brother, Laurie (Reta) Zinck, West Northfield; 2 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Wentzell; a son, Byron Wentzell; brother, Ralph Zinck. Visitation Sunday, May 4 beginning at 1 p.m., in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. Rev. Ivan Norton officiating.
