Obituary of Mildred Whynot

Mildred Maybella Whynot 90, of Springfield, Annapolis Co., passed away January 27, 2007 in Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in New Ross, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Graves) and George E. McDow. She is survived by her daughters, Alice (Wallace) Smicer, Maitland; Elsie Ruggles, Inglesville; Anne (Ross) Burgoyne, Cherryfield; sons, Kenneth (Isobel) Whynot, Dutton Ontario; David (Christine) Whynot, Meisner Section; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Steadman; daughter Joyce Marie; brothers Gerald, Clifford, Ira and a sister Anne. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral Service will be 2 pm Wednesday in Springfield United Baptist Church, Rev. Robert Gates officiating. Burial will follow in the Springfield United Baptist Church Cemetery.
