Obituary of David Roger Agnew

David Roger Agnew 1947 - 2015 – It is with great sadness that the family of David Agnew announces his passing on April 14, 2015 after a long and courageous battle against Heart Disease and Diabetes. Born in Fredericton NB, he was the son of the late Ada and Leonard Agnew. Dave was best known as the original “salesman”. He enjoyed working for Mariner Real Estate as a Real Estate Agent in Bridgewater NS. Before that he owned and operated Dag Clothing Sales Agency. He was a sales agent for men’s and ladies clothing lines and travelled the Maritime Provinces. In the seventies Dave was the National Training Manager for Berensohn International Promotions out of Toronto, ON. But Dave’s only real love was his family, His wife Cathy (Clark) of 45 years; his two children Lisa (Kevin) Hurst, Halifax and son Jeremy (Nicole) Agnew, both of Halifax; grandchildren Kaija and Glen Hurst; sister Stephanie (Bob) O’Quinn and brother Michael (Ginny) Agnew, both of Fredericton NB; sister-in-laws Judy (Joe) Solski, Wasaga Beach ON; Cindy (Chris) Lafrance, Moncton NB; brother in law Bill (Debby) Clark, Bridgewater; father-in-law William Clark (Jean) Bridgewater. Predeceased by parents Ada and Leonard Agnew; sister Tina. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M., Saturday April 18 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Health Services Foundation of the South Shore.
