Obituary of Roland Samuel Brown

Roland Samuel Brown Age 80 of Maitland, Lunenburg County, passed away on Friday March 27, 2015 at home. Born in Upper Chelsea, he was a son of the late Aubrey and Hattie (Uhlman) Brown. Roland is survived by his wife Deyanne; daughters Tammy (Doug) McKenzie, Pictou; Terrie Lee (Daren) Jarvis, Victoria BC; sons Kelly (Denise) McKinlay, Vancouver BC; Adam (Dawn) McKinlay, Timberlea; sisters Marilyn Fisher, Bangs Falls; Audrey McKinnon, Mill Village; brother Riley Brown, Liverpool, Aubrey “Jr” Brown, (Pauline) Chelsea; grandson Roland (Laura) Bent, Ontario; 1 step grandson; 5 step granddaughters; 5 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Bernadine (Selig), his son Richard Bent; brother Harold Uhlman and grandson Conner. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday April 11 at Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Family flowers only, please. Memorial donations in Roland’s memory may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, New Germany or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
