Obituary of Frances Simmons

Frances Mary "Pat" Simmons 93, of Bridgewater, passed away May 17, 2001 in the Harbour View Haven, Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Kentville, she was the daughter of the late John and Glennie Patterson. She is survived by her daughter Joan Nauss, Bridgewater; grandchildren Christine (Bill) Watkins; Mitchell (Beth); Michael (Cindee), all of Bridgewater; Stephanie Nauss, Westchester Village, Chester; great-grandchildren Meghan, Julie, Nelson, Melanie, Kara, Courtney, Hayley, and Chelsey; brother Donald, South Alton. She was predeceased by her husband Roy L.; a brother Henry, a sister Marjorie. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, with Rev. Dr. Thomas Harvey officiating. Interment in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to the charity of choice.
