Obituary of Howard Lee Charlton

Howard Lee Charlton Of New Germany, passed away November 27, 2014, at the QEII Health Science Centre, Halifax. Born in Middleton, Annapolis Co. on October 11, 1936, he was the youngest son of Stanley and Arabelle (Sproule) Charlton. Surviving are his daughters, Karen (Robin) Wentzell, Barss Corner; Iris Charlton (Bill Spiers), Baker Settlement; grandchildren, Hannah and Lacey (Charlton) Meisner, Baker Settlement; sister, Isabel (Richard) Andrews, Waverley; sister-in-law, Vivian, Springfield; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Lois Pauline (Spidell) Charlton; brother, Laurie S. Charlton. A graveside committal service for Howard and Lois will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, October 10, 2015 in Barss Corner Community Cemetery, Barss Corner, Rev. Dr. Wendell Eisener officiating. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia or the New Germany & Area Lions Club.
