Obituary of Marion Joyce Daniels-Uhlman

Marion Joyce Daniels-Uhlman (Westfield, Queens Co.) Our beautiful mother went home to be with the Lord on Friday September 18, 2015 at the age of 81. Born on April 6, 1934 in North River, Lunenburg Co., she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Amy (Daniels) Robar. Surviving are her husband, Martin Withrow Uhlman; daughters Donna (Ricky) Arenburg, Calgary; Angela (Lindsay) Drummond, Dartmouth; Annette (Roland) LeBlanc, Tantallon; son David (Joanne) Daniels, Beach Meadows; daughter-in-law Barb Daniels; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters Judy (Paul) Robar, North River; Joan (Guy) Sproule, East Dalhousie; Monica (Charles) Zinck, Chicago; brothers Vincent (Sylvia) Robar, North River; Bernard Robar, Dayspring; Delbert (Gloria) Robar, Hastings. She was predeceased by her first husband William Daniels; infant daughter Katherine; son Darren Daniels; sister Lila Sproule; brothers Luther and Nelson Robar. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Queens General hospital for the exceptional care they took of our mom. Special thanks to Dr. Morash, Dr. Fraser and Janet. Visitation will be held 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M., Monday September 21 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 Highway 10, New Germany. Funeral service will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday September 22 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, North River, Rev. David Whynot officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Rest Cemetery, North River. Family flowers only, please. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or to her husband Martin Uhlman. There will be no reception following the service.
