Obituary of Nita Younis Eisenhauer

Nita Younis Eisenhauer It is with great regret that the family announces the passing of Nita on July 1st, 2015, at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Raised in Mahone Bay, Nita was the daughter of the late Abdul and Emma (Barratt) Younis. Nita moved to Bridgewater where she began her career with Maritime Telegraph and Telephone as a Switchboard Operator and retired as the Manager of Operator Services. The family moved to Crescent Beach, Lunenburg County, where she became the ‘unofficial’ guardian to Crescent Beach. Besides her many daily walks on her beloved beaches, Nita enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, listening to CBC radio and working in her gardens. Nita is survived by her husband, James “Jimmy” Eisenhauer; son, Bill (Gabriela Hirt), Victoria, BC; daughters, Penni, Saint John, NB; Tanya (Richard Heaps), Ottawa, ON; grandchildren, Sol and Leonie, Victoria, BC; brothers, Joumah, Abe and Allie. Pre-decreased by her parents; sisters, Marion and Dora; brothers, Sammy and Fozzette. At Nita’s request, there will be no service or visitation.
