Obituary of Krisanne Louise Ernst

Krisanne Louise Ernst It is with broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Krisanne, following a sudden illness on February 16, 2015 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic at 48 years of age. After living and teaching English at the University of Quebec in Montreal for a number of years, Kris moved to Santo Domingo, to pursue her dream of teaching English there. Born in Bridgewater, she was the youngest daughter of Lloyd and Melba (Publicover) Ernst of Oak Hill. She is also survived by her sister, Wendy (Kevin) Emino, Wentzell Lake, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Uriel and Annie Ernst and maternal grandparents, Basil and Marjorie Publicover. Kris was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor and her passions were her family, friends, the beach and her precious pet, “Bodie”. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2015 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, March 6 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater. A private family interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Rev. Paul Jensen and Rev. Willis Ott officiating.
