Obituary of Vera Etheline Fancy

Vera Etheline Fancy Age 93, Upper Northfield, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born June 16, 1922 in Barss Corner, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Maude (Whynot) Morton. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family, surviving are her daughters, Paulette Fancy, Upper Northfield; Sharmarlen (Sherman) Pyke, Bridgewater; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Percy Lohnes and second husband, Lossie Fancy; sisters, Beulah Lohnes, Hazel Lohnes, Glenda Ramey and brother, Basil Morton. Visitation 2-4 p.m., Sunday and funeral service 11 a.m., Monday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater with Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Private family interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Upper Northfield. Family flowers only with donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Mount Calvary Lutheran Church.
