Obituary of Donna Gale Greek

Donna Gale Greek (Eichel) It is with saddened hearts that the family of Donna Gale Greek (Eichel) announces her passing at home, in Oakhill, at the age of 68, on August 7, 2015. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Two of Donna’s favorite things in life were spending time with her family and camping. For years they had a seasonal site at Ponhook, but due to illness they had to stop. Instead she had to put up the fight of her life. She fought hard for 2 years but in the end the disease won. Now it’s your turn Mom to be free in the arms of your boy, your son, Randy, your Dad and Mom, and your niece Cathy. Mom, whenever we look at the flowers we will think of you! She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Gary Greek; daughter, Amanda (Terry) Boutcher, daughter-in-law, Teresa Greek and her pride and joy, her grandchildren, Megan and Matthew Greek and Ashton and Sarah Boutcher; sister, Doris (Ronnie) Deamond; brother, Danny (Linda) Eichel; special nephew, Michael (Beth) Deamond, two special nieces, Kelsey Clark and Katie Eichel. She was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Catherine; niece, Cathy Deamond-Clark and son, Randy. Donna will be sincerely missed by anyone that was lucky enough to have known her. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Phoenix St., Bridgewater. Rev. Willis Ott officiating. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Family flowers only. Burial to take place at a later date. Reception will follow at Oakhill and District Fire Hall, Oakhill. Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society or charity of choice. Gary and Amanda would like to thank Dr. Kydd, Dr. Abriel and his Palliative Care team, especially Kim and Noleen.
