Obituary of Muriel Elizabeth Hubley

Muriel Elizabeth Hubley Age 79 passed away on Monday December 14, 2015 in her home in Bridgewater. Born in Upper LaHave, Lunenburg Co., she was the daughter of the late George and Susan (Mahoney) Burns. Muriel is survived by her daughter Donette (Harvey) Getson, Bridgewater; sons Clay (Pam) Hubley, Chelsea; Blair Hubley and Andre (Rose) Hubley both of Bridgewater; sisters Pauline Crouse and Evelyn (Ralph) Getson both of Upper LaHave; brothers John Burns, Hamilton Ontario; Warren (Rose) Burns, Yarmouth; Billy (Gale) Cross, New Canada; grandchildren Craig, Natasha, Anne, Morgan, Ethan, Travis, Keith and Quentin; Great grandchildren Caelyn, Hayden and Carleigh along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Eric; sisters Lillian Parks, Madilyn Case, Marjorie Sperry, Vivian and Mary Burns; brothers Robert, George and Edward Burns. Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Wednesday December 16 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday December 17 in Bridgewater United Church, Rev. David Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Flower accepted. Memorial donations may be made to the Bridgewater United Church.
