Obituary of Eric Wendell Lohnes

Eric Wendell Lohnes 62, Oakhill, Lunenburg Co., passed away on October 16, 2015 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater with his wife Susan by his side. He was the youngest son of the late Laurie and Beulah Lohnes of Upper Northfield. He is survived by his wife Susan, stepson Graham (Lisa); brothers Vaughn and his wife Charlotte, Lower Sackville; Marshall and his wife Cheryl, Newcombville and their families. His close friends and his extended family at Oakhill Pines Campground were also important to him. Eric enjoyed tractor pulls, watching NASCAR, four wheeling and keeping busy until his health would no longer allow him to do so. He was an employee of Michelin Tire, Bridgewater, retiring after 30 years of service. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. No visitation or service at the Funeral Home by request. Private Family service will be held at Hillside Cemetery, Upper Northfield, Rev. Willis Ott officiating.
