Obituary of Ruby Kathleen Lohnes

Ruby Kathleen Lohnes Age 88 of Bridgewater passed away on Wednesday July 8, 2015 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Fishers Mills, Guysborough County, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Muriel (Tratt) Croft. Ruby is survived by her daughters Diane (Gerhart) Lenihan and Paulette (Gerald) Lenihan, both of New Ross; Karen Knickle, Hebbs Cross; son David (Beatrice) Lohnes, Cookville; sisters Muriel Joudrey, Watford; Ruth Uhlman, Upper Chelsea; brothers Wilfred (Emily) and Douglas (Bonnie) Croft, both of Buckfield; grandchildren Nicole, Kimberly and Billy Lenihan all of New Ross. She was predeceased by her husband Paul Lohnes and partner Eldon Beck; son Theodore; sister Margaret in infancy; brothers Murray, Basil and Edmund Croft. Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Sunday July 12 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where the funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday July 13, Rev. Paul Jensen officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only, please. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
