Obituary of Palma Barbara Mailman

Palma Barbara Mailman Age 85, Petite Riviere, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Ryan Hall Nursing Home, Bridgewater, where she had been residing. Born in Bridgewater, she was the daughter of the late Stephano and Celia (Rooke) Oddo. She will be lovingly remembered by daughter, Donna Fanning, Vichy, France; son, Shawn Fanning, Petite Riviere; grandchildren, Nicholas Belmont (Angelique Deschamps), Vichy, France; Amber “Shawna” (David) Smith, Cole Harbour; Wesley Fanning, Dartmouth; great-grandson, Yoreck Deschamps; a nephew and also, Byron Getson, Ont., Jeffery Getson, Digby. She was predeceased by husband, Gerald Wesley Bromwell Fanning and companion for many years, Robert Getson; daughter, Susan Gale; brother, Maxwell (Betty) Oddo. Visitation 7-9 p.m., Thursday, May 7 in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater, where service will also be held 2 p.m. Friday. Rev. Oliver Osmond officiating. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Pentz. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the charity of choice.
