Obituary of Dorothy May MacKenzie

Dorothy May MacKenzie Age 84, East Chester, formerly of Lockeport, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Milton Cranton and Awilda (Broughm) Cranton Robart. Surviving are her daughters, Estelle (Roland) Stuart, Wendy (David) Granger, Sharon MacKenzie; son, David MacKenzie (Edna); sisters, Connie Enslow, Marion Bourquin; brothers, Terrance Cranton, Harley Robart; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Basil Roy MacKenzie; adopted parents, Maurice and Alexia Townsend; sons, Maurice, Jimmy, Kevin and Shaw; sister, Colletta Stewart; brothers, Gordon, Jack and Kevin. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Lockeport. No flowers by request. Memorial donations may be made to the SPCA.
