Obituary of Naomi Jewel McLain

Naomi Jewel (Oickle) McLain Born 1925, the fourth child of Everett and Mable (Lowe) Crouse formerly of West Northfield, passed away peacefully at Rosedale Home for Special Care on Saturday, March 28, 2015 where she resided for two years due to the effects of dementia. Survived by sons, John (Joan) Oickle, Barry (Heather) Oickle, David (Angela) Oickle and step son, Reggie (Janet) Steen; grandchildren, Janice (Alex), Patricia (Jason), Marsha (Neil), Sharon (Jarrett), Nikki and Krista; step grandchild, Michelle; great grand-children, Sierra, Owen, Nathan and Brandon; step great grandchildren, Brianna and Kyle; brother, Aubrey (May; brother in law, John Arleigh (Anne) Oickle; sister in law, Marjorie Crouse; nieces and nephews. She predeceased by parents; husbands, LeRoy Oickle, Bob Steen and Bill McLain; brother, Earl; sisters, Vera, Marion and Audrey. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Memorial service 11 a.m., Saturday, April 11, 2015 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater. Rev. Paul Jensen officiating. Reception will follow the service at the West Northfield Community Hall, West Northfield. Burial at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery, West Northfield. Family flowers only, donations may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Alzheimers Society of Nova Scotia, Rosedale Home for Special Care or charity of choice.
