Obituary of Lloyd Naugler

Lloyd Naugler Age 92, Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater on January 16, 1923, he was a son of the late Harold and Rose (Veinot) Naugler. Surviving are his brother, Wilfred, Bridgewater; Marshall, Dartmouth. He was predeceased by sisters, Maxine Fralic, Evelyn Harnish, Margaret Risser, Alta McPherson, Alice Naugler; brothers, Harry Naugler, Blake Naugler. Also survived by nine nieces and six nephews. Lloyd was predeceased by his life partner of 40 plus years, Ellen E Rhyno and was the adopted Grandfather of Kevin, Ellen, Jayme and Amanda Rhyno. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Lloyd served overseas during the second world war. He joined with the West Nova Rifles and served with The North Nova Scotia Highlanders. Lloyd loved a spirited game of auction 45 and was often accused of not following the rules. We will keep the card deck warm for you Lloyd, until we meet again. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. A public graveside service will take place on August 13, 2015 @ 2 PM in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Rev. Simon Davies officiating.
