Obituary of Marguerite Grace Rafuse

Marguerite Grace Rafuse Age 93 of Pinehurst, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 in Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany, where she was residing. Born in New Germany, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Viola (Whynot) Arenburg. Marguerite enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother with a kind and generous heart. She enjoyed cooking, baking, her flower gardens and feeding and watching the birds. Her door was always open. She will always be remembered and forever in our hearts. Marguerite is survived by daughters, Virginia (Robert) Joudrey, Wentzell Lake; Cathy (Terry) Spidle, Pinehurst; brother, Lorraine (Ruth) Arenburg, Fergus, Ont.; grandchildren, Annette Joudrey (Ryan Gatz), Jeanette Joudrey, Candace “Candy” (John) Swain, Scott Spidle; great- grandchildren, Abigail and Alexa Swain, Riley Spidle and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husbands, Earl Feener and Hollis Rafuse; brother, Murray Arenburg. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m., Friday June 12 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 Highway 10, New Germany. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday June 13 in New West Pine United Church, Pinehurst, Rev. Ivan Norton officiating. Burial will follow in Pinehurst Community Cemetery, Pinehurst.
