Obituary of Dorothy Jean Slauenwhite

Dorothy "Dot" Jean Slauenwhite Age 93 of Bridgewater, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Caledonia, she was the daughter of the late George and Hilda (Telfer) Wright. Dot is survived by her sons, Frank (Sally Pickings) Slauenwhite, Italy Cross; David (Dianne DeMone) Slauenwhite, Piedmont, South Carolina; grandchildren, Ben (Amy) Slauenwhite, Laura (Frank) Roche, Tyler Slauenwhite, Colin Slauenwhite; great grandchildren, Brianne, Brandon, Owen and Sydney along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, James C. Slauenwhite and daughter Susan L. Allen. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m., Thursday, October 29 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, October 30 in Chelsea Baptist Church, Pastors Jack and Audrey Carter officiating. A private family burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Chelsea.
