Obituary of Irene Rosalie Sperry

Irene Rosalie Sperry 85 of Pleasantville, Lunenburg Co., passed away on January 2, 2015 in SSRH, Bridgewater. Born in LaHave Islands, she was the daughter of the late Theophilus and Leoda (Bush) Bush. Irene is survived by her daughter Valerie (Fred) Hirtle, Pleasantville; son Bayne (Marion) Sperry, Mount Pleasant; sister Hazel Havill, Bedford; grandchildren Chris (Cynthia); Chad (Nicole); Laura (Jeff) and great-granddaughters Jenna and Brooke, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Cecil, son Terry, brother Archibald, brother-in-law Stan Havill, and friend Gerald Baker. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. There will be no visitation by request. A public graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday January 6 in Brookside Cemetery, West Dublin, Rev. Neil McEwen officiating.
