Obituary of Hazel Fern Starratt

Hazel Fern Starratt Age 85, of Falkland Ridge, Annapolis Co., passed away on Tuesday August 25, 2015 in Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany, where she had been residing. Born on January 6, 1930 in Falkland Ridge, she was a daughter of the late Percy David and Elva Melissa (Stoddart) Starratt. She is survived by her sister Ethel Veinot, Bridgewater; nieces, Leona Spencer, Ann Lyons, Joan Coombs, Kay Taylor, Gail Keddy; nephews, Robby Wentzell, Aubrey Wentzell, Keith Kaulback, David Kaulback, Malcolm Brown and Walter Brown; special friends, David and Betty Drew. Hazel was predeceased by her sister Jean Wentzell, Enid Brown, Olive Kaulback; brothers Evan Starratt, Lawrence Starratt and George Starratt. Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., Saturday August 29 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 highway 10, New Germany with a public graveside service immediately following at 2:00 P.M., in Falkland Ridge Cemetery, Falkland Ridge, Rev. Lloyd Gillieo officiating. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the Falkland Ridge Cemetery or to Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany.
