Obituary of George Warren Swanburg

George Warren Swanburg Age 89 of Bridgewater passed away Thursday June 11, 2015 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Shelburne, he was the son of the late George and Dorothy (Lantz) Swanburg. He is survived by his son Warren (Diane) Swanburg, Lower Branch; sister Jeannette Smith, Shelburne; grandsons Robert Turenne and Darren Swanburg; great grandson Jordan Mousseau among with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Vida; and sister Margaret Turner. Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Thursday June 18 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday June 19 in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 P.M. in Pine Grove Cemetery, Shelburne. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Society or the Lunenburg County Chapter of the Victorian Order of Nurses.
