Obituary of Gilbert Owen Veinot

Gilbert Owen Veinot Age 90, New Germany, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in New Germany, he was a son of the late Owen and Elva Veinot. Surviving are his wife the former, Lila Marie Drew; daughters, Evelyn Penney, New Germany; Susan MacPherson, Simpsons Corner; sons, David (Betty) Drew, Springfield; Franklyn (Dianne) Veinot, Simpsons Corner; grandchildren, Lisa Ramey, Julie Varner, Tammy MacPherson-Oickle, Terry MacPherson, Danielle Wile, Derek Drew, Donna Veinot and Paul Veinot; great-grandchildren, Josie, Jonathan, Thomas, Nathan, Mattaya, Liam and Gage. He was predeceased by sister, Flossie MacFarland and brother, Ralph Veinot. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Funeral service 1:30 p.m., Monday, May 11, in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, #4895 route 10, New Germany with Rev. Bethe Benjamin-Cameron officiating.
