Obituary of Viola Pauline Veinotte

Viola Pauline Veinotte It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Viola Pauline Veinotte, 93 of Clearland, Lunenburg County, a daughter of the late Roger and Grace (Kennison) Tanner, on Friday July 3, 2015 in Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Viola is survived by her daughters Verlene (Richard) Veinotte, Clearland; Leolia Emino, Springfield; Elizabeth (Darrell) Corkum, New Cornwall; Heather Robar, Chelsea; Veronica (Murray) Pierce, Blockhouse; Janine (Wayne) Levy, Windsor; sons Bernard Veinotte, Alberta; Rodney (Cheryl) Veinotte, Rose Bay; Kevin (Sylvia) Veinotte, Bathurst New Brunswick; sister Lucelia Griswold, Bridgewater; 26 Grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and sisters-in-law Iris Tanner and Betty Tanner. She was predeceased by her husband George “Eddie”; daughters Gloria Veinotte, Janice Aulenback, Donna Veinotte; sons Wendell and Wayne Veinotte; grandchildren Tammy, Craig and Tanya and 7 brothers and 3 sisters. Family and Friends visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Monday July 6 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday July 7 in Mahone Bay Baptist Church, Rev. Sherrolyn Riley officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Clearland. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the I.W.K. Children’s Hospital, Halifax; the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of choice.
