Obituary of Marilyn Kathleen Wakerell

Marilyn Kathleen Wakerell Age 74, Crouse’s Settlement Road, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Crouse’s Settlement, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Elva (Zwicker) Hardy. Surviving are her daughter, Denise (Mark) Eaton, Wileville; sons, Dwayne Wakerell (Shannon Gareau), Abbotsford, BC.; Wade Wakerell (Deborah Whynot), Branch LaHave; grandchildren, Robin Wakerell, Ryan Wakerell, Alexandra “Alex” Eaton, Dean Eaton; great grandson, Caellum Wakerell; sister, Judy (Art) Sharpe, Maitland; brother, James Malcolm (Theresa), Crouse’s Settlement Road; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Mitchell Wakerell; sister, Jean DeLong; brothers, Glen Hardy, Gary Kendall Hardy, Leslie Himmelman. Visitation will be prior to the service at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, May 2 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, with the service at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Robert Zinck officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
