Obituary of Gordon Levi Weagle

Gordon Levi Weagle Age 94 of Bridgewater passed away on Saturday February 21, 2015 in south Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son to the late Theophilus and Lena (Clattenburg) Weagle. Gordon is survived by his daughter, Sharon Spidle, Bridgewater; grandchildren, Michelle (Jason) Langille, Bridgewater; Michael (Gail) Spidel, Saskatchewan; great-grandchildren, Levi (Micayla) Spidel, Luke (Julia) Spidel, Colby (Kristen) Oickle; great-great grandchildren Trey and Peyton Spidel along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth; sisters, Vivian Wamboldt, Marie Brindley, Pauline Weagle, Hilda Rafuse; brothers Ralph and Arnold Weagle. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. A private family graveside service will take place in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater at a later date, Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Family flowers only, please. Memorial donations in Gordon’s memory may be made to the Lunenburg County Chapter of the V.O.N. or the Last Post Fund.
