Obituary of Hazel Virginia Zwicker

Hazel Virginia Zwicker Age 85, Bridgewater, Lunenburg County, formerly of Mahone Bay and Barss Corner, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Barss Corner, she was a daughter of the late Dennis Raymond and Dorothy Mary Jane (Barkhouse) Moore. Hazel was a production manager and long-time employee of Suttles and Seawinds for many years. Surviving are her husband, Dennis Zwicker, Bridgewater; daughter, Jane (Brett) Collins, Pleasantville; sons, George DeLong (Brenda Labrador), Blockhouse; Burpee (Joanne) DeLong, Lower Sackville; sisters, Ardith (Henk) Bos, Barss Corner; Irene (Carter) Mader, Newburne; Ellen (Calvin) Wentzell, Maplewood; Marie (Jacque) Perron, Blockhouse; Ethel (Merrill) Wentzell, Fancy Lake; Florence Wentzell, Cornwall; Francis Wentzell, Scarsdale; brothers, George Moore, New Hampshire; Arthur (Bonnie) Moore, Queensland; Douglas Moore, Walden; Llewellyn (Pat) Moore, Barss Corner; eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, George R. DeLong Sr.; sisters, Annie Wood, Margaret Mansfield, Helen Renee. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. Service of Remembrance will be held 11 a.m., Monday, November 23, in Bridgewater Baptist Church with Rev. Norman Hovland officiating. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the Bridgewater Baptist Church building fund or Barss Corner Community Hall.
