Obituary of David John Banfield

David John Banfield Age 61, Pine Grove, Lunenburg Co., passed away suddenly on Friday, December 16, 2016 at his winter residence in Mission, Texas. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Jack and Jean (Drake) Banfield. David was a very special person and a good friend to many. He was a teacher and was well liked by his students. He was a great football fan, who so enjoyed games with his special buddies. David was a wonderful cook and loved nothing more than sharing. David will truly be missed by all who loved him. He is survived by his wife, Crystal Clements; children, Elena, Erika, Hannah, Emily and his grandchildren; brother, Kenneth; step mother, Shirley DesPres; step sister, Helen; step brothers, Michael, Kenneth and Gregory; step children, Scott and Tracey. Cremation has taken place and by personal request there will be no service. Donations in David’s memory may be made to Hope for Wildlife or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
