Obituary of Grace Mable Carver

Grace Mable Carver Age 97 of Bridgewater passed away on Thursday March 10, 2016 in her home. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Archibald Rhodenizer and Margaret (Weagle) Fancy and a step-daughter of the late Herbert Fancy. Grace enjoyed over 50 years of marriage with the love of her life, Simeon. She was passionate about her family and loved to be surrounded by her children and grandchildren, especially around holidays as she loved to make special meals for her family. In her younger years, Grace worked as a care-giver and was a passionate member of her Ladies Church group. Grace is survived by her daughter Elizabeth (John) DeMone, Upper Northfield; sons Edward Carver, Midville Branch; Kenneth (Marilyn) Carver, Bridgewater; grandchildren Kathy, Debbie, Lisa, Roxanne, Christopher, Bruce, Marcia, Adam, Johnathan, Ronald and Steven; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Simeon; daughter Margaret Follett; sisters Little Beattie, Evelyn and Jean; brothers Basil and Melburn and grandson Randy Carver. Visitation will be held 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M., Monday March 14 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Tuesday March 15 in the Bridgewater Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. Brian MacArthur officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Flowers accepted. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association.
